The Wild Bunch (also known as Thirteen Too Many) is a Cantonese language action-historical-drama film based on the novel by E. J. Raskin, adapted for Hong Kong audiences.The story takes place during the Tang Dynasty in China, when four different factions vie for power and control. At the center of this struggle are the powerful leaders Lee Kuk-young (played by Qin Pei) and Zhuang Weng (played by Liu Shaoming).Lee is known for his cunning and deceitful nature, using any means necessary to eliminate Zhu in order to unite the entire world under one ruler.The film also features a young woman named Princess Luorong (played by Chen Yulan), who is determined to use her beauty to bring peace between the warring factions. Alongside the princess is a group of 13 brave warriors from different regions, all united for one common cause to protect and preserve their kingdom.
